Hailing from Sri Lanka and now thriving in Toronto's vibrant music scene, Swindler is more than just a DJ and producer – he's a sonic storyteller. 

Originally known as DJ Loopout, Swindler embarked on his musical journey in 2015 as a resident DJ in Beppu, Japan, igniting dance floors with his infectious energy and eclectic sets. Transitioning into production in 2018, he quickly made waves with three singles under his former alias, together amassing over 10,000 views on his YouTube channel.

In 2023, Swindler relocated to Toronto, rebranding himself to reflect his evolving sound and artistic vision. With a penchant for melodies and robust basslines, Swindler draws inspiration from the dynamic energy of Tech House and the emotive qualities of Progressive House, seamlessly blending the two genres into his own distinct sound.

With support from industry heavy weights such as DJ Ruby and multiple support from DJs and radio shows globally, Swindler is quickly building a name for himself in the progressive house scene.

Recently, he made a significant splash with a high-profile release on Australia's renowned Late Night Music label to launch 2024. His debut EP dropped on BC2 Recordings earlier this March. Boasting an impressive YouTube presence, he has amassed over 100,000 views and 1500 subscribers, indicative of a fervent fan base eagerly awaiting his forthcoming musical ventures.

About the Mix
I’m super excited to kick off the mix with my new edit of Above and Beyond's classic thing called love. I've also played a couple of I.Ds and one of them is premier. I tried to find the balance between my own recent releases and tunes from other artists I'm listening to on repeat these days. The mix starts off with an organic feel and evolves into a more energetic feel and I've closed off with a few of my tech house inspired progressive tunes.
