This week we welcome Anton Make, an experienced and talented DJ and musician from Kazan, Russia whose love and passion is to write and play music in the progressive house genre.
Anton’s music career started in 2011 when he released his first track. He has since released many tracks on labels such as Replug, Proportion, Mango Alley, Proton, Warpp, Digital Emotions, Manual and many others. His music has a depth, melody and atmosphere that enthralls fans of quality sound. Some of his tracks have reached the top of the Beatport charts and received support from top artists in the genre such as Guy J, Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Joris Voorn, Eelke Kleijn and many others.
He also performs at various parties in key cities of Russia. His sets are always full of energy, emotions and drive. Anton loves to connect with the audience and create a unique atmosphere on the dance floor.
Anton is also an experienced mastering engineer and provides services for different labels and artists. He does mastering for labels like Mango Alley, Warpp and Digital Emotions among others, always trying to make each track sound better and louder without losing its dynamics, quality and most importantly its personality.
“I love the club scene, the Ableton live program and its possibilities. I'm constantly experimenting with sound and trying to give my music my unique style and character. My goal is to share my music with the world and bring joy to people.”

A big thrill this week to welcome an exceptional progressive artist to our MPV series!
Andrés Moris is a DJ/producer from Argentina, located in the province of Córdoba in the center of the country. He began his career at the age of 16 after experimenting with heavy metal music and finding his way into electronic music.
His style was influenced by several greats on the scene, leading him to his main genre, progressive house.
After several years perfecting his sound, he managed to reach the hands of the greats of the genre, obtaining support from artists such as Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Guy J, John Digweed, Nick Muir and many more.
Guided by self-teaching and constant work, music never leaves the room.

From the bustling streets of Toronto, @amberlongsays makes waves with her signature sound. Supported by top-tier artists and blessed with a voice that soothes souls near and far, she has charmed audiences across countries such as Australia, the USA, the UK, the Netherlands, Greece, Spain, Qatar, Mexico, Argentina, Jamaica, and throughout her homeland, Canada. She's smashed through the glass ceiling with her music and collaborations, which have been signed to multiple prestigious labels.
Amber's passion for spinning is not limited just there; not only does she travel everywhere but also runs Modern Agenda - an independent label home to producers who are being championed for their work in progressive house and melodic techno.
Amber launched the LIA Series in 2021, a series of guest mixes highlighting up-and-coming female and female-representing artists from around the globe. Amber has also been hosting Frisky Radio's Rogue Radio Show since 2017 and has been involved with the Canadian Juno Awards for many years now.
With music coursing through every vein of hers; it's easy to see why Amber believes in its power to heal us all.

A big one! Reaching podcast number 200 is very special. Technically, the show starts its fifth year with #208 in a couple of months, but the nice round number is as good an excuse as it gets to celebrate! I am very grateful to everyone who listens every week, to all the amazing guest DJ’s who’ve given us their musical gifts, and to my brother @djstevefinney who has expertly taken over curation of the offshoot show, Mellow Prog Vibes, with some memorable sessions already under his belt!

This show has two goals: showcase progressive DJs from Ottawa (and Canada) to a global audience, and bring international DJ guests to an Ottawa (and Canadian) audience. For the past four years, it’s been a real treat to get to know Ottawa-based DJ’s who are, like me, lovers of progressive electronica, and very fulfilling as well to make contacts and friendships across the many countries that are represented through our guest DJ’s.

This week, in support of DJ Alain M’s 200th Ottawa Prog Vibes release we revisit my first mix for Mellow Prog Vibes. As one of my first forays into a more mellow, chilled out progressive vibe I had no idea that it would awaken my love for this sound. It’s a sound that now also flows through my more high-energy mixes and live performances.
Alain’s passion for Progressive House is infectious. His support for the scene in Ottawa has led to OPV’s Expeditions series landing a regular monthly slot at the legendary Berlin nightclub. He has also performed with some of Canada and the world’s top progressive DJs and producers, with more to come!

This week we turn to Canada’s biggest metropolis for an outstanding session from a scene veteran and highly talented DJ/producer, Mark MacLeod.
@markmacleodmusic comes from a long line of musical talent. He was part of the original rave scene in Toronto and a regular resident in many of Montreal’s best house music clubs. This is when he began to move to the deeper side of electronic music.

This week we are thrilled to welcome one of Australia's rising prog artists, @kallisto_music for her very first appearance in a Canadian show!
Kallisto - aka Melanie Carr is a New Zealand-born and Melbourne based DJ/producer who emerged in 2022. Her DJ sets, the energy behind the decks and upcoming releases draw on her love of deep progressive house and techno.
Drawing on her experience in underground music as both an independent festival organiser, dancefloor lover and longtime music superfan. She describes her sound as a unique fusion of artists such as Stan Kolev and European Progressive House artists, Jerome Isma-Ae, Cream (PL), Paul Thomas and the like.
Kallisto's first single Age of Time dropped in February 2023 with another two tracks on the way. She has been working tirelessly in the studio to move her sound beyond music and vibe curator to music creator. Bringing her own unique vision to the production space.
