This week we are stoked to welcome a fantastic artist based in Mexico City. @alex_aguilar_mx aka Magnetic Seed began his music journey back in early 2000’s, DJ’ing at university parties in Cholula, Mexico. He first started making music under AAV, having released one of his tracks on a Perfecto records Compilation by Sandra Collings back in 2006.
Then he made music under his own name Alex Aguilar, and from 2022 began making music as Magnetic Seed, this time exploring the deeper sounds of progressive and organic house.
He started his own label, BIT Records Mexico, in 2006, releasing his own productions and those of other amazing artists like Marcelo Vasami, Nicolas Rada, Ziger, Paul AR, Ladies on Mars, Fernando Ferreira, to name a few.
Alex got support from many great DJ's & producers like: Hernan Cattaneo, Dave Seaman, John Digweed, Sandra Collins, Admin Van Buuren, Markus Schulz, Oliver Lieb, and many more.

Raised in Buffalo, NY, J Lauda developed his sound at the intersection of two worlds: Buffalo’s raw electronic underground and Toronto’s thriving, world-class dance music scene just across the border. Exposure to both environments at an early age helped shape a musical identity rooted in deep atmosphere, emotional storytelling, and dance-floor precision.
That foundation has led to a steady output of well-received original productions and remixes on respected labels including Univack Records, Mango Alley, Odd One Out, Manual Music, Pangea Recordings, SLC-6 Music, Massive Harmony, Soundteller, AH Digital, Slideways, MK837, Polyptych, and Mistique Music, among others.
A standout moment in Lauda’s catalog came with his Univack Records release “Lifeline,” which was featured by Hernán Cattáneo on his Resident Podcast. The track later received official remixes by Hernán Cattáneo & Simply City, with Hernán supporting the record globally in his sets, including performances at major events such as Balance Festival.
His follow-up Univack release, “The Frequency,” not only climbed the Beatport charts but also caught the attention of progressive house legend Dave Seaman, who featured it on his Selador Radio show—further extending Lauda’s reach within the international progressive community.
Musically, J Lauda’s sound blends hypnotic, emotive melodies with punchy, driving drums, designed to lock listeners into a deep, evolving groove. His productions have received radio and playlist support from artists and tastemakers including Chicane, Yotto, Hernán Cattáneo, Dave Seaman, Sebastian Busto, Mateo Paz, Alec Araujo, Tim Penner, and others.
As a DJ, Lauda brings the same philosophy to the booth—focused on journey-based sets, controlled energy, and long-form storytelling rather than quick peaks. He has shared the stage with and supported artists such as Paul Oakenfold, Above & Beyond, Seb Fontaine, Judge Jules, Josh Gabriel and many more.

This week we are thrilled to welcome Julian Vasquez aka DJ Juls, born and raised in Colombia and now based in Montreal. He began his journey into music in 2017, and since then has dedicated his time to refining his mixing techniques and building a music collection drawn to progressive and deep sounds, always guided by melodies that envelop the listener.
He actively collaborates with local collectives and events throughout Montreal and the surrounding areas, contributing to the city’s vibrant electronic music scene.
Experimentation and play are central to his sets. Each performance is designed to create a sense of progression you can feel through your body, keeping you moving and fully immersed on the dance floor.
Watch this guy, he’s going places. No doubt one of Montreal’s most promising rising talents.

Our first guest of the year is @dj_kayla_shams from Buenos Aires (Argentina), a talented DJ passionate about progressive house, melodic techno, and other organic genres. With a solid background in the local music scene, Kayla is part of the staff at PH Bar House and has played at renowned events such as Downtempo Rooftop and Melt Underground.
She has shared the booth with prominent artists like Aldo Haydar, Sergio Almada, Tony Smooth (USA), John Creamer (New York), and Fernando Ferreyra (Rosario, Argentina). She has also collaborated with acclaimed producer Martín Gardoqui, with whom she was studying production techniques. Kayla has released tracks like her edit of Avicii’s “Feeling Good,” and this year also launched “Duele”.
In September 2025, she had the honour of performing warmup duties with Fernando Ferreyra; in October hosting Tony Smooth (first time in BA via Shams Producciones), and in November working with John Creamer. Currently, she's enhancing her skills through coaching classes with Nicolás Sánchez of Family Group and is part of Pete Tong Academy's student roster, consolidating herself as a promising figure in the electronic scene.

Covsky is a Sydney-based DJ and producer recognised for deep, melodic progressive house and emotive, atmospheric sets. His productions have appeared on respected labels including Meanwhile Horizons, Dawn Till Dusk (Balance), Musique de Lune, onedotsixtwo and Sound Avenue, cementing his profile within the modern progressive and melodic house landscape.
Behind the decks, Covsky has supported acclaimed artists such as Simon Vuarambon, GMJ & Matter, Khen and Anthony Pappa in clubs all over Sydney as well as an appearance at ADE in 2024.

With a career that stretches back to an iconic era of UK club culture, @reflectionmusicuk is a DJ and producer deeply rooted in the sound of trance and progressive house. His early influences included legends like Sasha, Paul Oakenfold, Quivver and Tilt whose depth and emotion helped shape his sonic identity.
Through the 2000s, Re-flection became a resident DJ for the iconic Miss Moneypenny’s, representing the brand on UK tours, at their Birmingham HQ and during multiple seasons at El Divino, Ibiza. He also played at the legendary Chuff Chuff parties and frequently for the legendary Godskitchen. These high-profile shows cemented his reputation for technical skill and versatility.
After a hiatus from the scene, Re-flection returned in 2024, reigniting his passion for progressive music and channelling it into original productions. His recent work crossing the genre borders of progressive/organic house and melodic techno has gained traction on the global scene, with support from respected tastemakers including Miss Monique marking a powerful re-entry to the spotlight.
Re-flection continues to evolve a sound that is rich in melody and atmosphere, designed to take you on an immersive emotional journey.
