This week's guest MPV DJ is one of New York's finest and most recognized. PONY is an established fixture in the NYC nightlife and art scenes as a DJ, event producer, and artist.
Born in Rome, Italy in 1986, he came to the city at age seventeen. Working alongside nightlife and entertainment industry legends, he soon became a staple to the city that never sleeps. His mixes and appearances are enjoyed internationally with streams in over 100 countries worldwide, and popularity in nightlife bringing him attention from many sides of the industry, such as being named one of HX Magazine's 'Top 9 people in nightlife under the age of 25 to watch in 2009', which featured him on the cover, as well as six nightlife award nominations, winning one. He has also been named one of Paper Magazine’s Beautiful People. His parties have been labeled 'Best of New York' by New York Magazine on multiple occasions. DNA Magazine (Australia) called PONY 'NYC's Hottest DJ'.
In 2012 he started spinning for Burning Man art collective Disorient. Later in 2012, he became the resident DJ and founding member of the monthly theme event series I FEEL. In 2014, they started another monthly event, Thank You for Being You (#TY4BY), as well as an annual immersive weekend residency on the island of Isla Mujeres, Mexico. In 2015 they launched an annual summer festival in upstate New York. He parted ways with his I FEEL collaborators in 2017. From 2015 to 2017, he was co-creator and resident DJ for the event series, Treetops. In 2017 he also created a four-part series, Outsiders, which was an instant hit. From 2014 to 2018 he was co-creator and resident DJ of his namesake weekly dance party in Tribeca, garnering a cult following over its four-year run. In 2019 he became the resident DJ and co-creator of the event series, The Party. He launched a new event series, Gateway, in the spring of 2021. He continues to produce events for private clients and clubs.
Having done over two thousand events, his experience has taken him from the downtown bars to chic hotel lounges, clubs, rooftops, beaches, warehouses, boats, and everywhere in between producing events and playing alongside some of the top DJs and producers in the global underground techno and house music community. No matter the venue, his unique style, and thoughtful selection is guaranteed to take the dance floor on a magical journey of sound. Drawing from a diverse range of musical and visual art influences, PONY combines a passion for music and people with a dynamic personality.

Prepare to fly. This will probably end up being one of our best of 2022. Lila Rose (UY) is a Uruguayan producer and DJ based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Born in Tacuarembó, Uruguay, Luciana aka Lila Rose showed an interest in electronic music since she was little, although it was in 2019 when she began her studies in music production.
In 2020 she released her first EP on AH Digital entitled Blazed, which was supported by great references of Progressive House such as Hernán Cattaneo, Dj Ruby, Mariano Mellino, among others.  In 2021 and 2022 she has released remixes and originals on the Balkan Connection, Venture Records and Sinedie Records labels, gaining support from numerous artists on the world scene.
Currently working on collaborations with great artists from Argentina and Brazil. She also will release two EPs and some remixes soon. She regularly participates in podcasts from all over the world.
Her productions are characterized by combining elements of progressive house and melodic techno, focusing on emotional melodies and atmospheres.

DJ DARTFROG AKA Dj Du Shine was raised on the mean streets of Ottawa. He started his musical journey when he was 15 and first became interested in the electronic music scene in 2001. He did various warm-up sets mixing top 40, house, hip hop at street parties and weddings before the doors opened in clubs and raves when he switched his genre to up-tempo and hardcore playing alongside with major names such as unfamous, Chosen Few, Rob Gee, Omar Santana, Andy Da Core, and many more. By the age of 25, he was already being touted as “A Cybernetic Alien from out of this world.”
This techno/house DJ/producer has started to dive into the real world of the music scene. A local from Ottawa, Canada, he has been in the music scene for over 12 years. His sound is very fierce, energetic, and uplifting. You can feel his Migmaw spirit and energy in his selections of eclectic tracks. Having 3 years of private lessons on piano, he knows how to layer up rhythms with a lot of catchy bouncy melodies, and powerful synths, using FX, hard cuts in his way, making the basslines hit hard and heavy, bringing his own energy to the sound. His passion for the craft of dj’ing and producing are unmatched.

This week we go back to centre ice for progressive electronica, Argentina, to bring you this impeccable session by two pros, Niko Garcia and DJ Lemy.
Nicolas Garcia was born in the neighborhood of Parque Patricios Buenos Aires, Argentina. At a young age he frequented electronic music nightclubs, listening to artists such as Danny Howells, Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren, references of his style. His love for music led him to become a DJ and producer. He was one of the founders of the Anestesia y Equilibrio series.
DJ Lemy was born in the neighborhood of Boedo, Buenos Aires, Argentina. Influenced by bands such as Pink Floyd, Depeche Mode, New Order, he began his musical career at 11 years of age studying guitar and percussion.
They have collaborated on many B2B DJ sets and production projects, with several releases under their belts on labels like Suffused, Superordinate, The Purr, Future Avenue, Be Adult, Nordic Voyage, Cigarette, Dreamers, Light Side, Equilibrio and others.
