Alex Delmar is an underground DJ from Montreal, mixing house and techno since 2007. He has been DJing at bars and private events in downtown Montreal (Twins, Istori, L’Ambroisie) for about 7 years.
In 2014, he completed the Audio Production program at the specialized school Musitechnic. As professional practice he recorded and mastered live DJ sets at Piknic Electronic and Igloofest as well as co-producing deep house tracks under FeelGood Productions.
He headlined electronic music events at a variety of venues in Guatemala and Costa Rica between 2015 and 2019, and held a few residencies (Rustic Bar, Maya Lounge, Tropicana Hostel - Sunset Sessions, 1001 Noches).
In 2018 he became a founding member of Underground Kollektiv, an international collective of DJs based in the UK who produce live events and label releases and host an online radio station. He is looking forward to returning to production under UDGK Records and performing at the upcoming Amsterdam Dance Event 2022 in October with the collective.

Residing in Ottawa, Canada, The Alchemist has a regular residence on blasttheradio.com with his after dark sessions, and a summer residency with his sunset mixes for Club BTR. He uses his music as personal therapy and shares his mixes with his fans. He also supports other up and coming DJs. 
The Alchemist started mixing in 1999 working in the Caribbean. His earlier influences were Paul Oakenfold, and listening to BBC radio one, which opened his heart to Progressive Trance.
After a 20 year break he recently got back on the decks after being inspired by Korolova and her Progressive House sets. He immediately loved how progressive house was part techno, melodic, and trance. He refuses to play the same songs over and over, and is constantly looking for new music to play.

Summer is getting hotter! This week we have an incredible session from a guy who knows how to spin for a summer mood. Primitive, from Jaén (Spain) has been doing this since the age of 20. Always passionate about electronic music, he started spinning in clubs across his city and grew into DJ’ing at larger events and clubs all around Andalucía and the south of Spain.
Today his style is resolutely progressive and as you will feel in this mix, his knowledge and experience of the sound is obvious - and spiced with that little Spanish flavour that goes so well with the warm sun.
